Map (Bounding Box) Lines Visible on some maps

On some maps I see the bounding box, for example, Q3WCP23.

I have tried adjusting the options in the display such as lightmap and 
vertex but to no improvement.

Using ATI X850 with current 5.12 drivers.

Is this a known problem and/or related to ATI (nVidia) and are there any 
solutions?
