I tried it, sound was crap. I got music, but the weapons all sounded like 
bad Moog effects. I've got a DFI LANParty UT socket 939 mobo with the audio 
on the riser card. I suspect I need to hunt down a more precise audio 
driver to match the chipset. Any hints on how to do that would be welcome.

The game itself plays reasonably smooth. I was irritated that I couldn't 
carry over my saved games from my WinXP64 session, now that the Linux 
binary is out.
