On 10/19/2005 2:35 PM McGrandpa brightened our day with: > >check to see if safedisc or starforce is installed (hidden install) on your >system. >McG. > > > It's not Starforce at least. I picked up F.E.A.R. and Quake4 today. Got the F.E.A.R. DVD and Q4 on 4CDs. The friggin' F.E.A.R. director's edition DVD, doesn't even come with a DVD case (granted it only costs $5 more than the regular version, so what do you expect, I expect at least a jewel case). Cardboard box and inside the DVD is in a paper sleeve, that's so goddam cheap. Q4 CD version, nice heavy quadruple deep DVD type case with the 4 cds all on one spindle and a decent little booklet. Runs pretty good on my 6800 at 1024x768 and 2xAA. Can't get all my MX1000 buttons working yet in Quake4, first game I've had a problem with, the Logitech software doesn't seem to recognize that Q4 is loaded. -- Steve ¤»Inglo«¤ www.inglostadt.com
