    Start q3 on the host computer,select multiplayer,then create,choose the
map you want to play on and click go.You will now be on a level by your
self.
Start q3 on the other computer that's connected, select multiplayer and
right at the top of the screen it says "servers",click on there until it
says "local".Then press the refresh button at the bottom and you should get
the other comps game shown in the list just click and join.
If the game doesn't show up quit both comps out of q3 and check to see
if each can access each others files,if they can't reboot the host computer
and try again. If they can check xp's or any other firewall isn't blocking
q3's server rights. If you are running xp's firewall on your network try
turning it off to see if that helps.
