On Mon, 6 Jan 2003 07:15:45 -0500, "Longshot" <Long...@nospam.com> : >didn't anyone read the original post? the idea for buying the ps2 or xbox >was to get my kids off my pc. Didn't you read your own post and the replies? Let me help you here. Your question : >>I may be a year late... but better late than never... which one should I >>buy? No where does it mentions kids and PC's. You asked which one you should buy, so one would assume that you would want pros and cons of each system. Inglo reading your message and not knowing for sure said: >The PS2 doubles as a DVD player doesn't it. Does the XBox? Basically he was pointing out that the PS2 out of the box is a DvD player whereas the XBOX is not. This to me would be a Pro for the PS2 and a Con for the XBOX. Though it may not have anything to do with keeping your kids off your PC it is a clearly relevant reply to your painfully vague question. The following replies merely cleared any confusion as to whether the XBOX was a DVD player out of the Box the answer being NO you need to buy the DvD kit. You are not the center of the universe, other people have questions too. Did you not read the other replies?
