Thank you for posting this I thought I was going mad I think you will find
it is not a video driver issue as I have tried 14 of them plus a new hard
drive and memory my quake does exactly the same it never used to do it on
version 1.31 its only done this since pbuster Im not saying it is pbuster
just seems strange as I have changed nothing in my system(apart from trying
to solve the prob) I have even reinstalled q3 from scratch the closest I can
get to solveing it at the mo is the error code XC0000005 and that seems to
be summit to do with sound blaster live which I dont have anyone else having
this prob it damn annoying in the middle of a game then it just locks saying
it encoutered a prob if I keep trying it eventually it will be fine its
strange :)
