<signed> Perfect in Linux if you know how to manually edit the configuration, but by default the side buttons are the same as mouse button 3. So no, they aren't perfect. Same thing as windows. With some registry tweaking you can get all of them to work supposedly. I have the MX-500 and I can get both thumb buttons to work without a problem. Just not those tiny scroll buttons. I do run Linux a lot although I get a 70fps performance drop in my framerates. And stuttering. I've never been able to use Linux as my gaming operating system because I'm the type that usually has one of the latest video cards out. Which sucks for Linux because the drivers are never caught up to current technology. When I bought my Radeon 9700 they had just released drivers for the 8500. I'm definitely thinking about dropping ATI cards all together when the GeforceFX comes out. Then stick with Nvidia. yeah. Hopefully Q3 will perform comparably to Windows with a Geforce. -- DoAStylez doas...@digitalmachine.org http://www.digitalmachine.org AIM: DoAStylez "Chicken" <n...@no.net> wrote in message news:h8uc0vstudnpjbqi4947856ckdav3b9r7t@4ax.com... > On Sun, 22 Dec 2002 23:45:57 GMT, numbe...@no.no.na.net : > > >http://www.petitiononline.com/l0g1t3ch/petition.html > > > >MouseWare > > > >View Current Signatures - Sign the Petition > > > >To: Logitech Inc > >As a consumer, I would appreciate it if Logitech Inc. would > >increase mouse support in games by making the extra buttons > >actually work if mouseware is installed.
