I for one used to enjoy playing at Pit's (maybe under a different nic), but the community just seems to have died. The vibe here was great...lotsa fun and a common place to play. sigh...who knows what happened...clans, cheats, loss of interest...I just don't enjoy playing online as much as I used to. As for servers, I wish I could host one, but all I have is cable with an anemic upload. If I had to make a suggestion, I'd vote for a plain FFA/TDM/CTF (take your pick) server with largely standard maps to make things a little easier for everyone to start. Tastes differ too greatly on mods, not to mention that some may involve long downloads, especially for those on dial-up.
