Isn't that motherboard a generation old? I remember back around June of
this year (6 months ago) deciding between the P4S533 and the P4T533-C.
Ewww, a non-intel chipset (SiS) - get ready for driver headaches.
Should have looked at P4B533 if you really wanted to go the DDR route
(i845).

Prolly should have gone with PC3000, PC3200 or PC3500 (PC3700?!...)
memory as well, for a very minor increase in costs. Then again, based
upon the motherboard it may not have made any difference anyways. I've
not gone the DDR route, so I can't tell you the best mobo for high speed
DDR memory...

Also, why not spend an extra $10 or so for a 40gig HD? Ata133 - hmm,
maxtor? I assume it's a 7200rpm...

You certainly tossed a nice large chunk of cash on that P4 2.4!!! If
you're gunna spend that much, I'd have gone for the 2.5 or 2.6 I think...

However, on the whole I think it will be adequate for a while... ;)
