Guns are only made for killing people? I've used a gun before and I
certainly wasn't interesting in shooting anyone with it. It was a .22 rifle
that I used on a shooting range at summer camp when I was a kid. I had a
good time practicing and improving my marksmanship, and when I got a
certificate at the end of the week for my skill it was the highlight of my
day.

Certainly guns are used for killing people, but that is far from their only
purpose.
