Hi there,

Here'n'there I see something that allows me to think Quake 2 has been
released. English is not my first language, so I may be wrong. BUT IF
NOT, please could anyone tell me where it can be purchased? Could you
also tell idSoftware's phone #? I can't seem to find that either.  
Any help is and will be appreciated.

Quake 2 is not out. It will not be out until the end of November or
early December. 
The q2test isn't out either...I would assume this will be out between
late October an early November.
If you want good places to check for dates, when they are available,

There you will find the latest info, if there is an, on release dates.
