autoexec.cfg, mouselook and crosshairs????????

I have enjoyed playing Quake but wish that the mouse look was a toggle
button as it is in Duke

I saw a posting suggesting the addition of +MOUSELOOK to the autoexec.cfg
file but I don't appear to have an autoexec.cfg file!!!

I then saw something about making your own autoexec.cfg file no prob, but
what do you put in it, I tried

+mlook
crosshair 1

but that didn't work!!

HELP ME PLEASE!

email me at
ca...@compusmart.ab.ca
Thank you!

Interesting, I had no problem with +mlook. As for crosshair option, you
should write crosshairs "1" in the autoexec.cfg. That should turn it on for
you.

But don't forget to switch mouselook in the options menu to off, because
this mite cause a problem or two.

Hi,

If you want to edit these modes, you have to edit (in my case)
config.cfg.
Then do what Q-Ball wrote and it works.
