hi folks... newsguy just spent a couple of days moving and reconfiguring servers so i took the opportunity to upgrade my newsreader. after i got it up i went poking through newsgroups and found you all here - pleasantly surprised to see at least a few messages for a game i love but seems to be played less and less these days. i played as a GDI for many years and i've been a LOF member for a couple of years, i mostly play on (LOF)Gumby's Playpen or (LOF)Sniper's Lair. these run the WOD mod (not the newest one i've heard about). anyway i thought i'd introduce myself and see what's going on with you game dinosaurs. if you see (LOF)boot it's me - say hi. so what server do people play on (IP + Port) - i'll drop it in gamespy and look for some of you when i get a chance. saturday nights? what time (zone?) and what do you play ... ctf? cooperative? ffa? thanks... Ah, nice. the servers DNS (since my ip changes) is: hypercube33.homeip.net (standard port) The server is on a rotation of different mods as often as I can get them up, and whatever. I *gladly* accept mod suggestions and whatever to keep people coming back for new experiences. I'm thinking about getting a bigger pipe and putting up a few other servers. I'd be happy to add you to my contact list.
