Hi,

I hear that some folks are having problems connecting to the server.
It works ok for me, but I just have the one machine, so it's
connecting to itself sort of. Are you able to connect?
ftp://65.25.162.32/quake2

It should be up most of the time.

Thanks,
Tom

Nope, still can't. Here's the whole conversation from my ftp app:

===================================
220 Welcome to Clocktech FTP Server.
       USER anonymous
331 Please send PASS now.
       PASS (password not shown)
530 Incorrect user name or password, please restart from USER.
Unable to make a connection. Please try again.
===================================

It looks to me as if you don't have anonymous login allowed.

Hi,

I have the password set to "anonymous". Should it be "pass"?

Best,
Tom

Hi Tom,
    I think for anonymous users (read only), the password should be blank.

Hi George,

Ok. It's blank now. Does that do the trick?

Best,
Tom

Tested both with XP's buildt in ftp-functionality and with cute-FTP pro.
Works just fine. A bit slow with XP's but thats to be excpected.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like it running. Files are going out to
California and Portugal right now. Sorry about the down time.

Best,
Tom
