I get a "couldn't execute gamespy.cfg" message from quake 2 every time I try to log on to a Quake 2 server. I think I may not have successfully upgraded to 3.20; I get a "couldn't load pics/colormap.pcx" error from windows when I try to run quake 2 alone. Am I missing this file, and is that why I can't log on to any multiplayer servers? Can someone tell me where I might find this file? THanks very much...

Check your shortcut for the startup directory (which should be the directory containing the quake2.exe file) and the attributes of the main Q2 files. -- pop is Mark Doing nothing makes me tired 'cause I can't take a break. --

Send the owner of the server an email.
