Looks like the demo splitter was not designed to work with the mission pack and/or such massive demos; the results were less than great. Although I got most of the first unit out OK, the rest is another matter. Ended up with lots of tiny demos of something like 1Kb each which crash Q2; the larger ones just don't work. At least, for the first map of the second unit. Oh well... I'll salvage what I can and see what we've got. The spliiter itself crashed before completing the split so I don't have all of the game to play back anyhow. -- "FREEZE MUTHA-STICKER, THIS IS A FUCK-UP!!" OK, update - I've recovered the majority of the first unit; a few snatches of the second; a couple of seconds of the third. <g> That's pretty much it; I'm gonna have to set up demo-recording aliases for next week; or record one unit at a time, maybe. I'm guessing the splitter wasn't designed to work with such large demos containing so many map changes. Frustrating :( -- "FREEZE MUTHA-STICKER, THIS IS A FUCK-UP!!" I haven't posted it yet, or even written a readme <g> It'll be on the FTP site in my sig rather than the binary NG - ftp://65.30.181.223/quake/EvilBill/demos/ -- "FREEZE MUTHA-STICKER, THIS IS A FUCK-UP!!"
