With a P166, I went to a Voodoo Rush (Intergraph's) from a Stealth 3D and I
can now play GL Quake at 24fps in 640x480 in Win95. Before, I got like 27
fps at 320x200 in DOS (by the way, same test under DOS with the new card did
2 fps faster than the Stealth). So, basically, you're talking twice the
frame rate, and under Windows to boot. GLQuake2, by the way, does 27fps. The
Voodoo non-Rush is faster, and the Voodoo 2 is supposed to be 3 times as
fast, or more. Early tests said crazy things like 100+fps!
Just as a note, I'm VERY HAPPY with my Rush, so you should be in heaven with
a Voodoo 2 :)
