hmm, Outlook Express is my favorite.  It never gives me a problem.  I have
never once had a problem putting binaries together.   And as far as
retrieving messages, I would attribute that to your isp news server, not the
reader.

I ain't trying to stop you from trying other readers, just commenting on
your post is all.

forte agent seems to be one of the more popular ones that people are using
though.  I would suggest looking for an updated version as Bill suggested.
