Okay the beta is out... but you have to be special to get to it.

I'd read that FilePlanet didn't require a paid subscription - that 1/2
of the subscribers would be non-paid...

Apparently not so though. That or all the betas are gone.

After setting the hardware requirements to the maximum (the only way
to get past that screen), one hits a road block. Check out the print
in yellow @ the bottom of the screen shot!

Relax, hot-head. The non-subscriber versions are being released starting
*today*.

PS. id is *the* company that deserves *not* to be pirated. Please
respect that.

Alright, time for round 2! Yesterday's Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Public
Beta keys were all snagged up within a couple hours and we can't wait to get
the new batch out there. Like yesterday, today's keys will go to FilePlanet
subscribers only. All you have to do is go to the URL below, feed the site
with your hardware specs, and then claim your beta key!

They deserve to burn in hell. Look what they allowed to happen to Quake 4.
It's total SHIT. Now this? Go ahead and give the cocksuckers your money, they
aint gettting mine.

You know what ticked *me* off?
They said my hardware specs were too low! I mean, Jeez, this rig runs Quake
4 just fine, so what's their problem?
