Are there any good first person games that are suitable for children? How about a doom/quake mod that involves a snowball or food fight? Does anyone in this group have children? I think this is a big opportunity for ID.

Years ago Chex ran a promotion featuring their breakfast cereal in a Doom
format. I am not making this up! I no longer remember any of the specifics,
but all the violence was more completely sugar coated than Fruit Loops.

Why doesn't ID sell something like this using the Quake 3 or Doom 3 engine? I think they'd sell a ton of them.

Very old, and they use Wolfenstein-3D style engines, but two I remember off hand are Nightmare 3d: (google search for the demo) and Ken's Labrynth: http://advsys.net/ken/klab.htm He also have a free Build engine-based game with is more advanced than the above two, that includes moving subways and mirrors. check out http://advsys.net/ken/buildsrc/default.htm > >How about a doom/quake mod that involves a snowball or food fight? > >Does anyone in this group have children? This is required to run that game.
