Hi all, I recently got a new laptop and Quake 3 is running just fine on it - except that the build-in mice (eraser-head or touch-pad) are impossible to use. So I am contemplating a gamepad or a trackball to play on the go. I understand that a mouse and a keyboard are the best way to play at your desk, but those are not an option in a car or on a plane. Any advice or recommendations? Thanks, Al

Get either or both the gamepad will be useful in any system but the trackball may be closer to what a mouse is during quake3. I had a friend that used a track ball and he seemed to do ok not close to what we mousers could do but not bad.
