I remember a game based on the quake engine. 1. It had a mode allowing greenish scorpionoids to fight greenish spideroids and play capture the flag, and a base single player mode with lots of alien killing. 2. There was a contest connected with the game, and to enter, the owner had to take a screenshot of the hidden entrance to a secret level, and another screenshot somewhere on the secret level. If I recall correctly, the prize was an ultimate gameing PC (for that era - it probably wouldn't be all that impressive now). 3. There was a timed level, where you could pick up lots of gear, but were kicked out after 30 seconds or so, just like the "behind the waterfall" secret level in the later Quake 2. 4. The ultimate boss looks approximately like a big bloated immobile baby that spawns monsters. Shoot him enough, and a large wound appears, and gets deeper and deeper with more damage as layers peel away. Killing it opens a couple of barred gates leading to a spaceship to escape, and a wrap scene. 5. I keep thinking the name of the game was Shraak, but a search on Google doesn't get any hits for this, so it must be something vaguely like that. I'd like to see any of the following. What is the right name of the game? Who made it? Were there any sites with pointers, maps or game support?

I don't know why I thought it had two, probably confusing it with something else. > have a look here for some free quake mods > http://www.quaketerminus.com/addon.htm >
