hi shaggy, im glad your still around.
 im copying every thing down from now on, smile.
tell me, if i do a fresh install, winxpro, what all do i need to install
with it, patches, glpro, glx pro ?
qwclient, and ahhh.
sry to be a pain, but i realy apprishiate it.

sorry i'm not familar with either glpro or glx pro

if you can get quake to install on XP (if you can't let me know)
update your vid card drivers
install glquake and quakeworld (client)
don't let either install opengl32.dll
if you do delete it from quake directory

install qw server if your going play lan games
and whatever bots  you want to play against
any extra maps install to quake/id1/maps

create autoexec.cfg in quake /d1
add whatever commands you whish
to run each time quake starts
+mlook etc.
