I know this is OT, but since there isn't a dedicated EF newsgroup, and it is based on the Quake 3 engine, perhaps someone may be able to help... I have got DSL, and am attempting to run my own server. I have got all the necessary settings organised. I can start and run the server fine. However, when a new map loads, everyone who is connected timeouts. This happens each and every time, and I have to keep restarting the server. Someone I spoke to about this mentioned that it has occurred in Quake 3 as well, so perhaps someone could make some suggestions on how to fix it?
