I'm having trouble getting this to work. I have Quake, from the Id 3-pack (Q1, Q2, & Q3) they started selling a few months ago. I'd never bothered to install Quake before, so this is a fresh installation. I installed all three versions on the disk: DOS Quake v1.08 Win quake v1.09 GL Quake v.95 They all run fine. So I'm trying to get Tenebrae Quake to work now. When I try to run Tenebrae it bombs out with the "progs.dat system vars have been modified, progdefs.h is out of date" error mentioned in the Tenebrae FAQ. The FAQ says this caused by running unsupported Quake mods, but I don't have any mods. This is a fresh installation. It does this with or without the Vis patch applied (which also doesn't seem to work, I can't see through the water). Any help would be much appreciated! Jack

it sounds like you need to re-vis the maps so they show transparent water. there should be a link to the files you need to recompile and instructions on how to do it. i remember i recompiled all my maps and maps for subsequent mods on a crappy cyrix 80mhz PC. it took ages, like weeks. hopefully it should take a couple of minutes with todays hardware :) jp AlphaWoolf wrote: > I'm having trouble getting this to work.
