Hey Dudes,

Any idea on how to go about converting Doom wads to Quake maps?
I got a hold of QuakeDM but I keep getting an error message that says "map
not found"....the map not found error is reffering to the level that has yet
to be created?!?! Thats hat I dont get.

Any ideahow to get QuakeDM to work or are there any othr programs out there
that will do the job?

Thanks

put everything from the zip file into ur doom directory
run doomtex
now type quakedm doom.wad e1m2
(e1m1 doesnt seem to work)

or
quakedm doom2.wad map01
for doom2.

(I tried it on doom1 and it worked)
it makes a file called doom.MAP which is a quake map file
you need to use a qbsp, vis, light on it.
