I'm now running WinXP Pro and am able to run single-player Quake using WinQuake. I use GameSpy to connect to other servers for TeamFortress play. My initial efforts to try to play Quake on the internet haven't been successful. I have QuakeWorld installed and GameSpy executes qwcl.exe to start Quake. Is it possible to run Quake on the Internet with WinXP Pro? Anything else that I need to do? Thanks for any replies!

Nope, my video card doesn't qualify for GLQuake. I'll bang away at qwcl.exe.

Got it working with qwcl.exe, once I configured Quake with WinQuake offline. Thanks.
