damn ! shaggy, help. Smile
when i start the game now, if i go to single player, or if i just drop the
consol and type /map dm1, or what ever, it loads bunch of things, and then
stops at the full brown screen, and at the bottom ikt just says the map
name, with a flashing thing. it wont start the game. booo hooo.
please help me again shaggy, : )

hmm, so single player won't work at all ??

what are the messages quake displays if any

your not trying single player with quakeworld are you, qw is multiplay only.

if you want to play a game of qw on your own box you'll need to download the qw
server. run the qw server and connect to it with the qw client

btw it's from the console it's just map (map name) not /map (map name)
e.g.  map dm1 not /map dm1
