Has anybody heard what the minimum requirements will be for this
puppy? I have a 486 DX2/66 with 8 megs ram, and i am praying every night
that my computer will be able to handle this game :) Someone make a post
of the requirements or feel free to mail me.

Quake will run fine on your computer. Nothing to worry about.
How fast? Well, probably like Doom on a 486SX/33 with 8 Megs.
In terms of memory, Quake will not require much more than Doom.
But, more speed will be necessary to acheive good frame rates.
Try a Pentium 75 or above.
But in few words, Quake WILL work on your computer.
