I must ask:  Is this group just a waste of time???  Just how much information 
has id realeased on Quake?  Without support from id, we could sit here and 
discuss Quake till we are blue in the face and it could turn out to be totally 
different from what we expected. 

I guess, I'm asking a question:  Does anyone from id read this group and 
respond????

Yes.. john romero posted last week or so.. and so far we know that..

Thomas Dolby might do the sound FX (She blinded me with hammers) :)

Sound code with no inturrupts...

They are about to hire a major programmer...

They just got Alias and a buncha SGI's and HP's

And there will be no sprites in quake.

Oh yeah.. the only weapon might be a hammer.. which will blow somewhat..
I hope it's goddamed Mjolnir, cause if it's not, it'll make a crappy 
1 weapon.....
