Hi everybody-
A couple of weeks ago I posted to several groups announcing our new
message
forum at cerebrumsoftware.com for game players and developers to voice their
opinions of what features should be programmed into next-generation video
games.

Basically, we're a group of RPG players, fantasy-novel readers, daydreamers,
writers, artists and programmers who simply want to make the most fun and
interactive PC RPG available, but we realize that we are boxed into our own
ideas--
we can't possibly think of everything. That's why you're reading this
message....

On our message board at www.cerebrumsoftware.com , game players, DnD
activists, MUD
users and lots of people interested in fantasy have given us their input as to
what
the ultimate game should have-- in terms of features, technology, story,
character
development and a hundred other areas of game design. We can only make this
game
better by continually asking people to contribute their thoughts and ideas.

And hopefully, when this game is finally completed, it will be everything that
we're trying to make it... fast and action-packed, deep with many sub-plots,
full
of quests and adventure, fun to play, mentally challenging and puzzeling...
you get
the point :)

So drop by our message forum and tell us what you want to see in our game.

Some of the current hot topics include:

Infinite object interaction (IOI) and the ability to use any and every object
that
you see on the screen

Weather, dynamics, and how it should affect gameplay

Women and RPGs

Economics, via monetary and barter-driven systems

Reality simulation, and the level of depth necessary for a next-generation
game

Graphics, RT3D, and realism vs. fantasy

Low-poly modeling

Advanced character AI and non tile-based AI

Advanced multiplayer techniques

and a whole lot more!

We want to hear what the gaming world and the game development world is
interested,
and why. Drop by and read some posts... reply if you have something to say
(and
I'm sure you do :)
