Hi! Everytime I try to play quake my soundcard doesn't play the fx-sound. I have a terratec sound system gold 32 card. In all the other games my card works well when I setup the card. (adlib compatible). I tried to start quake with a batch file: set blaster=a220 i5 d1 h5 t4 quake. Why wouldn't this work? When I quit the game, it asks if I really want to quit, i confirm, and the the computer does nothing anymore. I need to restart. Please help me and send me a solution by mail. Thanx Sebastian
