OK circle the wagons here comes the Duck. The practice Rik is talking
about is illegal but only under certain circumstances. It is perfectly
legal for me to buy ABC stock and promote the company saying their
buisness practices will promote company growth. It is illegal for me to
buy ABC stock and then post an inflated ask price and claim it to be
where it is headed. You can draw your own opinions from this
information.

As for technology stock it is almost all hype anyway. The people that
will make money on 3DFX are the ones that bought it at the open and got
out the same day (whistles inocently and twiddles his thumbs). The
other most profitable approach is to wait for the profit taking after
their first split and then sit on it for 18 months. As for buying right
now, short term it will be an almost total a loss, long term a good
chance of profitability. In the same time I'll go out and make 8
percent a day. :P
