One quick way to check to see if you have this virus is to go to the
tools menu in MS Word, click macros... and if you have files there that
you have not placed there, you have the concept virus. It can do damage
by being slight poly-morphic -- remember, your save function is a macro,
your print function is a macro -- virtually everything you do in a word
processor is a macro.

As for your hard drive...nothing distructive, but it does save itself
over and over again, clogging up space and causing *weird* things to
happen inside Word...

have fun -- my wife's company had this and they exchange disks country
wide -- patient 0 was a typing clerk in Surrey, BC
