tastyspleen.net has a bunch of Q2 servers online. You'll generally find at least a few people playing on the "vanilla" server (default deathmatch maps) and the custom maps server. Addresses for your Q2 multiplayer address book (along with some info about how many ppl are on the server) can be found on the server listings page here: http://www.tastyspleen.net/quake/servers/list.cgi You can download custom maps and such from the main site, as well as finding forums where you can ask any questions: http://www.tastyspleen.net/ Hope this helps.
