I run Apache (in windows) and built and maintain several websites on a Linux server. As I stated earlier, Linux is very good at what it does, but for my needs as a desktop it falls WAY SHORT. For me to spend the time to learn a completely new system for my home network, and then not be able to use dozens of programs that I am used to using almost daily, just does not seem worthwile.
