Hi Randy,
    I've got some mods to work, but not killer.  This example is for the 
"Dissolution of Eternity" mod:
        Start FuhQuake
        At the console, type:
            GAMEDIR ROGUE
            deathmatch 0
            MAP R1M1
    And the game starts.  I've tried to the same with killer to no avail.
 At the console, type:
            GAMEDIR KILLER
            deathmatch 0
            MAP START
