Favorites for Quake 1 were the plain old grappling hook mod - or Requiem Quake with it's loads of wack weapons combos like the freeze gun and the flame thrower or the nail grenade sticky cluster bombs. As for Quake 2 - Chaos Quake hands down was my favorite mod. With the vortex (Doughnut of Destruction), the proxie mines (the giggling and tarzan yells are hilarious), the blind grenades are a bitch, and so are the poison grenades and arrows. Wood is Good!
