Quake1 (shareware CD) won't run on winXP. I've read to try glquake or winquake, but neither of those will run unless I get my shareware quake registered (I've got a key). Problem is registering quake will require running quake and quake won't run on winXP. A small window pops up and quickly goes away when I try to run quake. Compatibility mode doesn't help. Any thoughts on getting quake 1 registered without actually running quake1?
