I cannot get the original quake to start in Windows XP. I get a brief
flash of a window and then it quits. I have Windows patched with all
available fix, including the one that is supposed to fix what I assume
is this problem. I have also tried compatiblity mode, and setting it
to Windows 95. Still no luck. I have done a Google search on this
and have not found any useful information. Does anyone know of a fix?
