    You're absolutely correct.  They're not _supposed_ to.  That doesn't mean that
they won't.  I don't suppose anyone ever told you about the teachings in which it is
stated very clearly that if someone is openly homosexual, you are to kill that man?
Or about the quote from their prophet that if someone renounces their religion and
does not recant within 72 hours they are supposed to be stoned to death? I could give
you many more examples about prejudices that are supposed to and are not supposed to
be there, but it would be pointless.

    And you are correct, I should have realized that an atheist can subscribe to a
moral belief system and still not have a religion (it was right under my nose..it's
what I do).  I'm not trying to be an ass here, but I suggest we end this subthread
before it devolves into an ugly religion bashing thread (if it hasn't already).  If
someone wants a religion, fine, they can have it if it keeps them happy.  Just as
long as no one is trying to run my life...........
