Sandy Peterson's DOOM ][ levels were awesome! I can't wait to see what he cooks up with QUAKEED! John Romero's levels for shareware DOOM are cool, too. That is the only episode of DOOM that I can play over and over and over. His level designs, especially with respect to secret areas, are very good. About this make-your-own weapon thing... I am not an artist or a game designer. Let id Software make the weapons. And trust them. They will not make a game that sucks. They realize a game solely reliant on face-to-face combat would be terrible. That type of game play is reserved for arena-based fighting games. We will get more than a hammer...
