Since this is going to be the only weapon, hopefully they throw in other strategies to kill or trap people. Like setting some boulders on a hill, and you pull a rope when your enemy is underneath. Or you could put a net under leaves beneath a tree, and hook it to a trip wire. Then you come back an hour later to find some enemy trapped there. You rob him, and then pulverize him as he's bound in the net, leaving blood oozing out the holes.
