Another gimmick to add controversy, personally, and I'm no satanist or
anything, I think the evilness of Doom is what made the game so great.
To date their is know other first person game that so immerses you
into it's world of demons and Hell as Doom does. I guess what I'm
saying is, aside from graphics that to me still blow any first person
game away, including the much touted Dark Forces, It's the
"atmosphere" of Doom that make it.
Ok, no hits from Dark Forces fans but come on, their's just something
about the blood splatter when ya pump that bad gut with a shot gun
that just  blows away a pulse rifle shot!
