I'm getting my hardware ready for Quake (and Quake-like) games. Besides getting a Rendition-based 3D card in the near future, the only other weak spot in my system is the Sound Blaster 16 SCSI-2 card. I like it because it's so multifunctional -- in addition to just functioning as a sound card, I hook all of my MIDI keyboards to the card, and it's also my NEC SCSI CD-ROM drive controller, plus my Sidewinder joystick port. But the FM sound is getting old. I know about the old WaveBlaster daughtercard, and wonder if this would be a viable upgrade. I do have a Roland MT-32, but a lot of games don't support it properly anymore. My ISA slots are pretty filled up (I have one left). Does anyone have any suggestions for upgrading? Thanks Mark
