You can hop-punch Goro to death with Cage (and Raiden).

Alternatively, you can repeatedly warp kick Goro.

Well, with the first, which would also work for Kano, you would prolly
jump over him once or twice, which would cause problems for anyone
who's new, although anyone who can get all the way to Goro on one credit
obviously isn't new...

The second you would get thrown/punched out of when Goro blocked, and if
Goro doesn't block it, your game is set WAY too high for you to brag about
winning it easily ;^)

Here's a more exact way of beating Goro:
The secret is that when you knock him down, with a jump kick for example,
Goro will usually not block an attack while he's getting up, with the exception
of uppercuts in the corner. Therefore, a common strategy is to jump kick
Goro and followup with a missile attack. This works very well for Scorpion
and Sub-Zero... in fact, with Sub-Zero, you can actually uppercut Goro and
then quickly freeze him as he's getting up...

As for Shang Tsung, he should be pretty easy for someone who can get that far,
since the only new techniques you'll need to worry about is avoiding the
skulls.....

Here is a little trick using Liu Kang I figured out, using that same sort of
thing:

Flying kick to knock him down, followed by a fileball, followed by his
special kick. This tripple will take off about 45% of Goro's total power.
