Whats the difference between a hop kick and a flying kick. It hacks me off
mortal Kombat cause i can waste the normal guys, but when i get to the 2 people
together, i hardly ever beat them, havent got up to the guy with lots of arms
i forget his name.

Well, a hop kick is when you jump to hit your opponent on the way up..
a flying kick is Liu Kang's body attack [2 forward + highkick]

Goro. Well anyways, I am the opposite. I can beat most humans, but ahve a
hard time against the computer (well, the endurance matches anyway.)

It takes a LONG time if you want to wait for THEM to make a mistake, causing
me to make a mistake, causing my head to fly off somehow.

A hop kick is where you extend your legs (i.e. press the kick button)
while the character is still on the upward arc of the jump. A jumpkick
is where you extend your legs when your character has started on the
downward arc of the jump. It takes a bit to get the timing right.

If you watch others playing the computer, you'll see that the computer
has various "ruts" and "patterns" it falls into. Make a mental note
and exploit them when necessary. Also, you know when the second guy
is coming into the game. You can usually get in a free "special" (warp
kick, tackle, etc.) on the second guy before he lands.

Goro is the guy with all the arms.
