Well, I don't know the exact contents of the contract between Nintendo
and its licencees.  However, I doubt very much that Galoob reverse
engineered the NES which it is producing unlicensed games & The Game
Genie (which started the court battles).  In fact, I think Nintendo
didn't try to sue Galoob for breach of contract, galoob simply isn't
a licencee anymore.
