I d/l a copy of this game last week but have been unable to burn it
correctly with the sound files AND still be able to make the game launch.

Oh, I get to the title screen but when it comes time to actually fight
the game crashes.

Does anyone know what could possibly wrong with this game? Could there
just be a corrupt file in there that renders this game unplayable?

Thanks for your help. I can provide further details if asked.

If you're going to download it, download the complete .NRG or .ISO file.
The rips out there rarely work.

After you've downloaded the iso or nrg, then install and install the MKT
2000/XP patch. Go to Mortalkombatonline.com then to the Classic Games
Forums for the link to the site that has it.
