MK2 doesnt seem to work in win98 for me, it works in pure dos though.
When the game starts F10 doesnt bring the setup menu, and when i try to pick
my characters the screen is black.
The screen is also black when im fighting the computer, but i can see the
life bars, and after a few seconds it crashes to windows.
Any tips on getting mk2 to work in win98?

I assume you're talking about the standalone MKII.

There's a good version of MKII on the MK1/MKII combo CD, (if you can find it)
that will run perfectly in Win98.

Yeah, meanwhile it's bloody ironic that the only PC version of Mortal Kombat
that'll work normally on new systems is the first one...

I desperately want that. Found a factory sealed on Ebay, but it got up
to $70 or $80. Hell, I'd settle for an ISO.

Because I collect MK games, you fucking dip shit. Don't insult me with
your ignorance. There's been about 43 MK conversions released in the
home market and I'm only missing 9. On top of that, I already have
every MK ROM.

Yeah I got that cd combo original and backup :-) I bought it on ebay for $10
hehe. its in great shape with original box, manual and even the
registration card :)
If you want me to make an iso contact me @ oLi...@freegates.be
BTW the mk1 on that cd is the best port I ever seen!!! It's much better than
the disk version...
And as you mentioned mk2 is fully playble in win95/98/xp didn't try it on me
or 2000.
